Fair and
Equal Justice
Wayne H. Orrell seeks your VOTE for his election to the office of Commonwealth’s Attorney for Charles City County.
Wayne Orrell is a trial attorney who has practiced in the local area for the past 15 years. His law practice focuses on
criminal defense and litigation, working previously with Goodwin, Sutton, and Duval, as well as Hill, Tucker and Marsh before
opening his office in Charles City in 2010. “I hope that I can be fair and recognize the needs of justice and
yet not lose perspective on the impact that a prosecution carries,” Orrell said in a press release. “My hope
is to give the citizens of Charles City a prosecutor that has a balanced approach that reflects my years of experience in
representing persons and their families in the criminal justice system.”
Charles City County deserves
a prosecutor that will protect the community, but still understands the impact on those charged with crimes, their families,
and the community when charging, prosecuting and convicting defendants in the criminal justice system. A fair and balanced
approach brings justice to all and not just a few. I will work diligently with law enforcement and the community to
maintain a safe environment and a purposeful office that prosecutes real crime, seeks just punishments and does not carelessly
prosecute unwarranted charges.
